How Domaint turns measured signals and estimates into a readable domain report.
02Availability and lifecycle
Availability is based primarily on authoritative registry RDAP responses, with WHOIS and DNS used where coverage is incomplete. A registration expiry date is not a drop date: renewal, auto-renew, redemption and pending-delete stages may follow.
Domaint labels a drop signal only when registry lifecycle statuses support it. Marketplace nameservers are treated as a hint and a sale page must also be detected before a domain is labelled for sale.
03Scores
Brandability measures naming qualities such as length, spelling friction, numbers, hyphens and distinctiveness. Keyword score evaluates commercial language and extension fit. An overall Domaint score is shown only when the result actually has a composite score; a registered domain's brand score is labelled separately.
04Authority and history
Domain age, DNS, email, DNSSEC and Wayback history are measured signals. DA, PA and Spam Score are third-party metrics when configured; DR and flow metrics may come from the same provider. They are not registry facts and can differ across vendors.
05Value and pricing
Estimated value is a model output or heuristic range, not a certified appraisal or promised sale price. TLD prices are reference list prices and registrar checkout totals may differ because of promotions, premium names, taxes and currency.
06Freshness
Reports show when their core data was checked. Cached results improve speed and protect data providers; visitors can request a rate-limited refresh when newer data is required.
